HND Marine Engine Details

Henan Diesel Engine Industry Co., Ltd, herein abbreviated to HND, is a wholly state-owned enterprise, it is not only one of the 156 important projects during the first Five—year PlaninChina, but also the unique research and manufacturing base of light—type, high—speed, large powered diesel engines of China. It is now a member of the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), which specialized in the manufacturing, sale, and service of diesel engines, gas engines, diesel gensets, gas gensets, and pump sets.

HND, built-in 1958, specializes in producing the L12—180 and L42—160 diesel engine. HND introduced the technology from DEUTZ AG, Germany in 1985 and has produced series MWMTBD234V6N8/V12 and MWMTBD604BL6 and seriesTBD620V8/ V12/V16 diesel engine. By developing and designing, HND developed independently, TBD236 series, TBD620L6 diesel engine, and gas engine, etc. In 2007, HND introduced the technology license of Ll6/24, L21/31 engine from MAN B&WCo., and started production in 2008. The power of the engine is from 116kW to 2336kW, and the gensets is from 80kW—1700kW.

The quality system of design, development, production and servicing of diesel engines, gas engines, diesel gensets, gas gensets has been certified by China Xinshidai Quality System Certification Body according to GB/T19001:—2000. It means HND got two certificates both for military and civil, able to supply IMO 2000 Nox certificate.

HND’s spros are widely used in military equipment, commercial cargo carriers, passenger vessels, touring ship, engineering vessels, fishing vessels, and high—speed vessels, HNDcan provides CCS, ZY, ABS, GL, BV, DNV, LR, and RS classification society certificate. HND’s products in other industries such as petroleum, coal, mining, nuclear power, hydropower, and emergency/fire fighting and special vehicles, and other fields have also been widely used.

Perfect combustion structure: TBD234 series engine is one of the best fuel consumption high-speed engines in the world, it has a flat fuel consumption curve and thermal efficiency can be reached to 41%.

Better exhaust∶ it passed tho examination of lM0 nitrogen oxides inspection. The normal smoke level ≤ 2 Busch. TBD234 series engines are allowed long-term operation at 20% load condition. HC exhaust ≤ 500ppM at idle speed.

Perfect starting and speed up ability: Like TBD234V8 engine, if Lub Oil is viscosity up to 20W-40CDSAE20 W-40 standard, it can be started successfully at -10 ℃ without any accessories. Loading time≤ 10 secretary.

High reliability, long life for use, and convenient maintenance: The first overhaul time of a normal application engine∶ 20000 hours
Without a special request for lub, oil. Meet the needs of IMO for N0x request.

Convenient maintenance: TBD604BL6 has a simple and reliable structure and L line cylinders provide convenient maintenance and inspection. From the survey hole on the side of cylinder block, you can disassemble and check the connection rod and connection rod bush directly.
