Cummins Inc. was one of the first foreign investors in China, until 2015 Cummins has invested around one billion dollars in producing diesel engines in joint ventures with China’s leading truck and machinery manufactures.
Today there are more than 9000 employees working for Cummins China. In 2012, global sales exceeded $3 billion. Cummins turbochargers, filters, emission solutions, fuel systems, alternators, and electrical power generation systems. In the aftermarket support area, Cummins has 112 regional service centers, more than 30 customer support platforms, and over 3000 authorized dealers across the region.
Until 2015, Cummins has below 5 engine joint ventures in China, cooperate with 5 different Chinese Companies with 50%/50% shares.
CCEC (Chongqing Cummins Engine Co-founded 1995) Manufacture Cummins M11, NTA855, KTA19, KTA38, and KTA50 series mechanical control engines. And Cummins QSK19, QSK38, QSK50 electronic control engines. For Marine, Construction, Generator Drive applications.
DCEC (Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co-founded 1996) Manufacture Cummins 4B3.9, 6B5.9, 6C8.3, 6L8.9 series mechanical control engines. And Cummins ISD4.5/6.7, QSB4.5/6.7, ISL8.9, ISZ13, QSZ13 electronic engines. Used for Automotive, Marine, Construction, Generator Drive.
XCEC (Xi’an Cummins Engine Co-founded 2006)
Manufacture Cummins ISM11 and QSM11 series electronic control engines. Used for Heavy Trucks, Construction, Marine, Generator Drive.
BFCEC (Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co-founded 2010)
Manufacture Cummins ISF2.8, ISF3.8,QSF2.8, QSF3.8 electronic control engines. Used for Light Trucks, Construction Equipments.
GCEC (Guangxi Cummins Engines Co-founded 2013)
Cummins joint venture with LioGong Construction Equipment to make 7 and L9.3 liter engines for off-highway Construction equipments.
