Cummins China fully enter off-highway Stage IVwith Intelligent Electronic Control module(ECM), and lunched 2019 EU Stage V Emission Standard.
November 22, 2016, The Cummins QSG12 with EU Stage V upgrade ability, intelligent electronic control series Cummins engine with Euro IV and core spare parts appear up in Shanghai Bauma for the first time. Its upgraded version X12 has received high praise from Germany Bauma in April, with horsepower 100 HP to 512 HP (75 KW to 382 KW), inherited from Stage IV with DPF, SCR, EGR free, to meet today’s most stringent 2019 EU Stage V emissions standard.
Cummins Engine develops from horsepower 46HP to 3000HP ( 2.8L to 60L) light, medium, heavy-duty and high-powered electronic control China III emission engine, to Euro IV emission stage through the advanced After-treatmentt technology, to today’s most stringent 2019 EU Stage V emission.
Since April 1st, 2016, all manufacture, import and sale of off-highway mobile machinery should meet China III emissions stage, China IV stage is expected to be implemented in 2019. The displayed Cummins QSB6.7 / QSB7 series, QSL9 series engines are equipped with Cummins Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Cummins Electronic Control System (ECM) to reduce Nitrogen oxides (NOx) with more stringent “one-stop” emissions technology solutions.
Cummins 6.7-liter QSB series, meets off-highway China IV stage, Horsepower from 170HP to 300HP (127 KW to 224 KW), Max. Torque: 1000 N.m; 9-liter QSL series, Horsepower from 220HP to 375 HP (164 KW to 280 KW), Max. Torque 940-1500 N.m, ideal power for loader, excavators, cranes and other equipment.
Cummins also displayed QSF3.8 light engine equipped on 13-15t excavator, 5-10t diesel forklift, etc. Mining power “giant” Cummins QSK60 electronic control engine, as well as advanced Cummins Nano filter system, ReCon® remanufacturing technology, patented formula Kangsheng lubricants and other spare parts.
Cummins SCR Aftertreatment system has been deployed more than 1.5 million units wordwide since 2006, by adding urea solution (DEF/Adblue) to remove most nitrogen oxides in emissions, reduce the nitrogen oxides to harmless N2 and H2O through using catalyst. It can also save 5% fuel consumption, with low urea consumption, only equivalent to 1-2% of diesel.
Cummins new generation of “extreme clean” Stage V off-highway engine 4-cylinder F3.8, B4.5 series and 6-cylinder B6.7, L9 series, 100 HP to 430 HP (75 kw to 321 kw), integrating DPF, SCR and urea injection system together. Which saving 50% of the installation size and 30% by weight compared to the previous stage, providing a better choice for compact engineering equipment with stronger fuel adaptability.
Upgraded Stage V Cummins engine has 10% power and 20% torque increased, 3% fuel consumption reduced, engine oil changing extended to 1000 hours with much lower operation cost.
After F3.8 upgraded to Stage V, horsepower will be increased from 130HP/97kW) to 155HP/116 kW, max. torque increased more than 20% up to 600 N.m.
After B4.5 upgraded to Stage V, horsepower will be increased from 173 HP/129 kW to 200 HP/149 kW, torque up to 780 N.m.
After B6.7 upgraded to Stage V, horsepower will be increased up to 326 HP/243 kW, torque increased more than 30% up to 1375 N.m.
After L9 upgraded to Stage V, horsepower will be increased from 400HP/298 kW to 430HP/321 kW with a torque of 1846 N.m.
